Elevate Adolescence Program / Participant
  • Participant (13 Year Old) It’s a great program. I enjoy having deep conversations with girls my age and some who are a little younger also. Something that could be improved is having more conversations.

  • Participant (12 Year Old) I think this program is helpful for girls who haven’t been introduced to these concepts. It can be cheesy, but it is always interactive, and people are rarely bored. I like all the fun art and crafts and activities!

  • Participant (13 Year Old) The GRS Program is really nice. A lot of the activities are fun, like planting the seeds and making a structure to hold marshmallows using spaghetti, tape, and marshmallows. You get to meet new people, make new friends, and share your thoughts and opinions.

  • Participant (11 Year Old)
    In the GRS program, my experience so far has been great. It is fun and also helps improve regular/important decision-making. My favorite activity so far has been the balloon activity where someone can only touch the balloon once and not let it touch the ground. This can help improve your trust. Therefore, GRS is a great strength-building program.

    The first day I was shy. Then I overcame my shyness and made new friends. The program is really interesting and I learn things I don’t even learn in school. I would love it if it was every week and of it was longer, that’s how fun it is. Especially when you have activity and reflection time.

    I would totally recommend it to my friends and tell them that it is worth it!

    I was nervous about going to this program the first time my mom told me that she was going to sign me up. The first time I went to the Hub was just 3 months ago and it was an amazing experience, so l couldn’t wait to go again! When the first day came, I didn’t know any of the girls there, but I found that the teachers were so sweet. The next two times I got to meet the girls, we had a lot of interactive activities and very important lectures. I loved it and can’t wait to return to another exciting time!
